iPad One-to-one Program

The ICT capability overarches Western Australian Curriculum and prepares students to “participate in a knowledge-based economy and to be empowered within a technologically sophisticated society”.

Our vision for Atwell students is to build well-rounded citizens with a passion for lifelong learning. To accomplish this vision we intend for our students to be engaged 21st Century learners who use technology as a tool for learning.

Our students use technology to learn in all areas and develop the 21st Century learning skills of critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration so that they can live and work successfully in today’s world.

To achieve our vision, the best model of teaching and learning is where each student has their own device, maximising the opportunity for them to be used. We selected the iPad due to a combination of ease of use, familiarity, security, support and range of available software.

In 2024 students in Years 3 - 6 are required to bring an iPad, meeting the specifications outlined in the Parent Information Guide below, to school.

For more information see the school’s dedicated iPad website or download the Parent Information Guide.
