In this term in STEAM, we made scribble bots! It was very messy, but we made incredible artwork. We also learnt about circuits. The bot included a motor, wire, battery pack and 3 (AAA) batteries which made it move. There was also a popstick which we put in different ways to see what worked the best. We really enjoyed this because it interpreted art, science and maths (STEAM) and we worked as a team.

On Friday the 15th of March Physiotherapist students from Curtin University came to Atwell Primary School to do a presentation about spinal care and how to relieve your back pain. The Year 6 students worked in teams to do a special workout to practice exercises they could do to keep their spine healthy and strong.
