On Tuesday the 20th of March, fifty five, year 4, 5 and 6 students from our school choir performed at Government House at the Commonwealth Youth Harmony Day. The students sang two songs and delighted the Governor of Western Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC with their talent. There were three other extraordinary items on the program, Penrhos String Orchestra, Hampton Senior High School Gifted and Talented Dance students and Scotch College Pipe Band, who will be playing at the 2018 Edinburgh Tattoo.

Atwell Primary School Choir students made us all proud.  They were focused, well behaved and coped so professionally with the venue and the situation. A great credit to all the hard work Mrs Cook has achieved with the choir over the years and a joy for me to work with.

Congratulations Atwell Choir, this is just the beginning of the year. Lots more “shimmy’s” to come!

Grateful thanks to all staff for their support.
